Recreating the look is simple, and takes minimal time; however, your hair needs to be at least shoulder-length long to properly recreate the look. Side Braid
1. Wash hair and apply a volumizing mousse. Towel dry hair until damp and then use a paddle brush and hairdryer to finish the job.
2. Brush hair to one side of your head. The braid will begin right at one of your shoulders and angle downward towards the front of your chest.
3. Braid hair in the front of your body, this will set the style to be forward on your body, not behind your back. Secure the bottom of the braid with a clear elastic ponytail holder.
4. Spray a light-hold hairspray in the back of your head and down the braid to keep flyaways away.

5. Wash and towel-dry hair until it is a damp consistency. Apply a volumizing mousse to your hair and use a paddle brush and hairdryer to finish drying.
6. Part your hair down the center of your head. Separate your hair into three separate sections. The first two sections will be the hair on either side of your part -- this hair will be braided separately. The third section is the back of your hair -- simply secure it into a low ponytail.
7. Braid your top left section into a French braid that circles around the back of your head. Secure the braid with a clear ponytail holder. Repeat with the top right section.
8. Pull the left and right French braid together at the back of your crown. Secure the braids together with a clear ponytail holder. Release the back ponytail and secure.
