Have A Disney Pixar Movie Marathon

When a CGI animation-production company called Pixar teamed up with Disney, a whole new collection of movies was developed. These "Disney-Pixar" movies are their own brand of Disney classics, and have grown to become favorites among Disney lovers throughout the world. Does this Spark an idea?

1. Watch "Toy Story," the 1995 movie that kicked off the Disney-Pixar trend. Join Woody (voiced by Tom Hanks), a cowboy toy threatened by the addition of spaceman Buzz Lightyear (voiced by Tim Allen) to his owner Andy's toy collection. Woody and Buzz immediately form a rivalry, but when they become separated from Andy, they must work together in an effort to get back to the boy they love. Also watch the 1999 sequel "Toy Story 2," in which Buzz and friends go an adventure to rescue Woody, who has been stolen by a greedy toy collector. And be sure to keep your eyes out in the summer of 2010 for "Toy Story 3," in which Woody, Buzz, and the rest of their toy friends will find themselves taken to a day-care center when Andy goes off to college.


2. Watch "A Bug's Life," the 1998 movie that shows what the world is like from a bug's perspective. Join Flik, a determined ant who sets off in search of warriors to save his ant colony from grasshoppers. However, Flik finds himself accidentally recruiting a group of bugs that turn out to be a circus act. Listen for the voice talents of Dave Foley, Kevin Spacey, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, David Hyde Pierce, Hayden Panettiere and Richard Kind.


3. Watch the 2001 film "Monsters Inc." Journey to Monstropolis, a city of monsters that generates its power by collecting the screams of children. However, a little-known secret is that the monster residents are actually afraid of human children. When a human child named Boo is accidentally brought into the monster world, top scarer Sully (voiced by John Goodman) and his right-hand man, Mike Wizowski (Billy Crystal), find themselves in a bit of a pickle.


4. Watch the 2003 undersea adventure "Finding Nemo." This film tells the story of Nemo, a tiny clown fish with one gimpy fin, who swims out into open water and finds himself separated from his overprotective dad, Marlin. Nemo meets many new fish along his journeys while Marlin sets out to search for his son and bring him back to safer waters. Listen for the voice talents of Albert Brooks, Ellen DeGeneres, Willem Dafoe, Brad Garrett, Allison Janney and Geoffrey Rush.


5. Watch "The Incredibles," a family of superheroes who spring into action into this 2004 film. Join Mr. and Mrs. Incredible and their three children--Violet, Dash and Jack-Jack--as they head out to save the world on Mr. Incredible's top-secret mission. Listen for the voice talents of Craig T. Nelson, Holly Hunter, Samuel L. Jackson and Jason Lee.


6. Watch the 2006 hit "Cars," a film that shows high-speed race car Lightning McQueen getting held up in the quiet, abandoned town of Radiator Springs. Here, he meets a whole new set of friends who make him reconsider his flashy race-car life. Listen for the voice talents of Owen Wilson, Bonnie Hunt, Paul Newman and Larry the Cable Guy. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled in 2011 for a rumored sequel, "Cars 2."


7. Watch the 2007 film "Ratatouille." Join young rat Remy (voiced by Patton Oswalt) as he journeys to Paris and befriends a struggling chef, helping him create culinary masterpieces in the restaurant where he was recently hired.


8. Watch the futuristic "Wall-E," the 2008 Disney-Pixar film that shows a small-waste collecting robot working to save his love, Eve, and the fate of mankind all at once. Very few lines of dialogue are actually spoken throughout the movie, as Wall-E communicates via beeps, clicks and broken automated audio. It's one of the more powerful and distinctive Disney-Pixar movies to date, with a much stronger message than the earlier films.


9. Head to a theater in May 2009 for "Up!", the newest from the Disney-Pixar corporation. Join 78-year old Carl Frederickson, who sets out to fulfill his dream of visiting South America by tying thousands of balloons to his home. Carl learns soon after takeoff that he's not alone on this journey, as he had intended: It seems that a young wilderness explorer, Russell, is a stowaway on his adventure.
