Instructions


1. Start losing a pound a day by avoiding high fat, high sugar, and high carbohydrate foods. This means no cookies, cakes, ice cream, chips, candy, alcohol, no fast food, and all other foods you know are bad for you. This is where the dedication to losing weight begins.


2. Control your portion sizes. Eat small portions of healthy foods that are high in protein. Three main meals a day and only snack when you can't bare the stomach growling and pain anymore. Eat between 900(least)-1200(most) calories a day. Basically, a low-fat, low carbohydrate, low calorie diet.


3. Healthy in between meal snacks. An ounce(handful) of natural almonds, celery sticks(2 or 3), sugar free pudding or jell-o, or a piece of fresh fruit. Limit fruit to no more than two servings a day.


4. For example, breakfast options--make egg beater or egg white omelettes as the worst part of an egg is the yolk. A small serving of oatmeal, a piece of fresh fruit, a yogurt. A healthy meal to start the day.


5. Lunch and Dinner options--tuna and a few crackers, plain grilled chicken breast, grilled fish, salad with grilled meat in it or by itself with a fat-free dressing, steamed vegetables in moderation, and a plain potato. Whatever else you know is healthy eat it but remember that portion sizes are the key. Meals should only be a handful in size for everything except salads and meat(two handfuls is accepted).


6. On top of this you must exercise every day for at least 30 minutes. Cardio exercises(run, jog, walk) for 20 minutes and others for at least 10 minutes. Mix it up, but do cardio everyday. One day do cardio and crunches or sit ups. The next do cardio and push ups. Cardio and lunges. As long as you get the heart rate up this is the goal.


7. Stay hydrated by drinking lots of water and supplement with a multi vitamin while dieting.
