Know If The Size Is Right With Skechers Shape Up

Advertised as "fitness shoes," Skechers Shape-Ups are sneaker-like shoes meant to aid in weight loss and toning of leg muscles. When purchasing a pair of Skecher Shape-Ups, you should find a pair that fits you comfortably. Wearing shoes that don't properly fit may lead to problems such as foot pain or injury. Determining if a pair of Skecher Shape-Ups fit correctly takes little time and effort. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Download and print a sizing diagram from the Sketcher corporate website. Sketchers offers a sizing diagram for men, women and children. A link to the download page has been included in the Reference section.

2. Cut the end of the first page at the dotted line. Line up the dotted line from the second page with the dotted line on the first page and align the letters "A" and "B" with letters "C" and "D," respectively. Tape or staple the pages together to keep in alignment.

3. Place your heel onto the designated area on the diagram and read your size. Depending on the width of your foot, you may have to wear wide-sized Shape Ups. If your foot extends into the navy or purple-colored area -- depending on the color of the chart based on your gender -- wearing wide-sized shoes may simply increase your comfort. However, if your foot extends into the gray zone, Sketchers recommends that you wear wide-sized Shape Ups instead of the regular size. Write down your size on a sheet of paper so that you don't forget it, and make sure to write down whether or not your foot extends into the gray zone.

4. Try on Shape Ups according to your measured size. This is the best indication of whether or not the shoes are correctly sized. If your measurements were correct, your foot should feel comfortable in the shoe as you wear it and walk. The shoe should not move or cause friction against your skin and should feel snug.
