Improve Male Stamina

Stamina is a problem for lots of men, especially as we start to see our 20s in the rear-view mirror instead of through the windshield. Low-attention span, problems with motivation and general lack of energy are symptoms of poor stamina. Fortunately, building stamina is as easy as building any other desired trait: by performing specific exercises, you can regain your stamina quickly and safely.

General Techniques for Stamina


1. Get 20 to 30 minutes of exercise daily, focusing on aerobic workouts over resistance exercises.


2. Be certain you're getting adequate rest, at least seven to nine hours per night.


3. Eat a balanced diet, avoiding processed foods, and rich in vegetables, fatty acids and protein.


4. Make time for your hobbies and for spending time with friends. A good mental state is vital to good stamina.


5. Use organization and relaxation to keep your stress levels low.


Testosterone


6. Try any of the following steps to increase your testosterone levels. Reduced testosterone can cause lower stamina in men.


7. Eat foods high in zinc, which is necessary to produce testosterone, such as spinach, cheese and brown rice.


8. Eat foods high in B vitamins, also vital for testosterone, such as eggs and fish.


9. Exercise can increase your body's production of testosterone, as can activities which stimulate feelings of accomplishment and well-being.


10. Add some gym time to your aerobic workout routine. Resistance exercises (lifting weights) can stimulate your body to produce testosterone.

11. Spend time with your friends. Taking time out to be with the people you care about is a proven method for reducing stress. Stress is one of the leading causes of fatigue in working men.


12. Choose your activities with friends wisely. Alcohol can reduce stamina, while sports can increase stamina. Pick a game of basketball or soccer over a night of pub crawling.


13. Talk with your friends about your problems, especially problems you don't want to worry your family about. Although communication is important in every marriage, often friends have the perspective to help you find solutions a spouse can't.
