Keep The Neck Warm While Motorcycling

When motorcycling in cold weather it is important to keep your neck warm. The neck is often exposed to the winter elements when out riding, which can lead to hypothermia. Whatever you use to keep your neck warm must also not prevent you from wearing your protective gear such as your helmet. Some cycling shops carry special gear specifically for the cold weather rider, but you can use standard clothing options.

Instructions

1. Place your head covering over your head and pull it down until the edge is sitting underneath the collar of your shirt. Adjust the facial opening until you can comfortably see and breath.

2. Place your helmet on your head and secure it appropriately. Put your jacket on, fasten the front and prop your collar up all the way around your neck.

3. Wrap your scarf around your neck on the inside of the collar. Continue wrapping the scarf around the outside of the collar and secure the end of the scarf by tucking it into the neckline of your jacket.
