Host A Halloween Movie Marathon

Is there anything better than sitting down and watching movies on Halloween? If this is one of your favorite ways to enjoy the holiday, why not get your friends involved? In fact, why not host a movie marathon? Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Consider the age of your audience. If you plan on inviting people in your own age group, you don't have to set any limits. On the other hand, if there is a chance that children will attend, you will need to make sure the movies are PG.

2. Encourage everyone to bring a favorite movie. You may be the host, but that doesn't mean that you have to do everything. By asking your guests to bring a movie, you also ensure that everyone gets to see a film that he enjoys.

3. Set the mood. Everyone knows that Halloween should be spooky. When you host a movie marathon, take time to create an eerie atmosphere. This can be as simple as placing candles all around the room. Candles will set the mood, while keeping it dark enough to enjoy the movies.

4. Prepare themed treats. Even if you host a party for adults, it's fun to make themed foods. For example, you could make cookies that look like eyeballs or a graveyard cake. You can make the treats as simple or as complicated as you like. The important thing to remember is to keep it fun. Make several treats and serve a different one in between each movie.

5. Set out bowls of candy. Halloween is all about candy. Buy several different varieties and set them around the room. As the marathon progresses, guests can munch on the different types of candy.
