"Halo: Combat Evolved," the first title in the "Halo" franchise, is a first-person shooter video game for the Xbox console. In it you play as solider on a futuristic, war-torn planet. Throughout the course of the "Halo" video game, you will need to activate energy bridges to proceed. The good news is that the controls for these bridges are straightforward and easy to manipulate. In fact, operating one of these bridges shouldn't take any more than a second or two.
Instructions
1. Insert the "Halo" game disk in your Xbox and begin a new game. Proceed through the game until you reach your first energy bridge. These bridges are placed intermittently throughout the game and require you to activate them for the two sides of the bridge to connect.
2. Walk up to the control panel for the light bridge. It will be a square panel on the side of the bridge you happen to be on. Make sure that your game character is standing directly in front of the panel.
3. Press the "X" button to activate the energy bridge. The two sides of the bridge will connect, and you will be able to cross to the other side.
