Keep Thighs From Chafing

Nothing can ruin your day like the chafing between your thighs. The continual rubbing of the skin against skin will cause chafing and will lead to blisters developing. This skin condition can make it very difficult to walk and even to sit. The best way to take care of this problem is to prevent your thighs from chafing in the first place. Whether you are wearing shorts or a skirt, you will need to take certain precautions to keep your thighs from chafing. Follow these steps to prevent chafing and keep the pain away.

Instructions

Prevent Thigh Chafing

1. Put on a loose pair of shorts or skirt to wear. When the material is tight around your thigh and the skin around the tight material is rubbing together, this will speed up the process of chafing.

2. Sprinkle a generous amount of baby powder into your hand. Rub your hands together to evenly distribute the baby powder between both hands.

3. Rub your hands over the exposed skin on both inner thighs where they are touching. Expand the area by about an inch where you are applying the baby powder. As you walk more skin of your thighs will rub together and start to chafe then is touching when you are standing still.

4. Wipe off any excess powder that has gotten onto your clothing. This will bring attention to your inner thighs and make you less likely to apply more powder later.

5. Reapply the baby powder as directed in step 3 every time you start to feel the skin on your inner thighs starting to stick when you walk.
