Get A Liquor License In Florida

To sell liquor, beer or wine in Florida, you must apply for a license from the Florida Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco Bureau of Licensing. Alcohol sales in Florida require one of two main licenses. The first is a quota license, which is only for a full-service alcohol establishment. A quota liquor license in Florida is only offered once a year on a lottery, and more licenses become available yearly as population increases. The second liquor license Florida offers is an SRX, a special restaurant license that can be applied for year-round if 51 percent or more of sales at an establishment is food. There are 54 subcategories of licenses based on the type of business you own.To apply for a Florida liquor license, you must gather certain documents to send with your application.
