Import Contacts From Road Runner To Outlook

If you're switching from Road Runner Webmail to Microsoft Outlook, don't worry about losing your contacts. Even if you're switching from Time Warner's Road Runner to a different service provider, you can easily export your contact from Road Runner and import them to Outlook using Road Runner's "Export" feature.

Instructions

Export from Road Runner

1. Log into your Road Runner account and click the "Address Book" button at the top of the screen.

2. Click the "Export" button.

3. Select "MS Outlook (.CSV)" from the "File Format" drop-down menu.

4. Select "United States English" from the "Locale" drop-down menu and click "OK."

5. Select a location to save your contacts, such as your desktop, and click "Save."

Import to Outlook

6. Open Outlook and click the "Office" button in the upper left corner of the screen.

7. Click "Open" and select "Import."

8. Choose "Import from another program or file" and click "Next."

9. Choose "Comma Separated Values (Windows)" and click "Next."

10. Click "Browse," select the contacts you exported from Road Runner, then click "Open."

11. Select how you want Outlook to handle duplicate contacts. If you haven't used Outlook before, any of the options will be fine. However, if you've used Outlook previously, you will need to decide whether to import duplicates and whether those duplicates should overwrite existing contacts.

12. Click "Next," select "Contacts" and click "Next" again.

13. Click "Finish" to finish importing your Road Runner contacts to Outlook.
