Get Duct Tape To Stay On My Foot

Use duct tape on your feet to prevent blisters.

It is better to prevent blisters on your feet rather than try to heal them. Wrap high-friction areas of your feet that are prone to blisters with inexpensive duct tape to prevent blistering. Avoid using duct tape if you already have tender or blistered areas. Duct tape is thin enough that it will not affect the fit of your running shoes.

Instructions

1. Clean your feet. Use a mild soap to clean any sweat or dirt off your feet.

2. Dry your feet completely before putting on the duct tape so it adheres properly.

3. Arch the foot when wrapping with duct tape. This will create a comfortable fit and allow the tape to move with the foot instead of restricting movement or tearing the duct tape.

4. Wrap the duct tape loosely on the foot so it does not restrict movement or compromise the duct tape.

5. Wrap the duct tape around so the tape sticks to itself. When it sticks to itself, it can bond to the back of the tape and give you a secure fit.

6. Avoid submerging the taped foot in water. The water will create a barrier between the foot and the tape adhesive and, ultimately, cause the tape to slide or fall off.
