There are a number of steps you need to follow to apply for a BP credit card. There are several cards that you can select from, and each one has its own features and benefits. Choose the card that helps you achieve your goals and objectives. Your interest rate could change under certain conditions once your application is approved. During the application process, you will be asked specific questions designed to expedite the process.
Instructions
1. Go to http://www.bp.com/managedlistingsection.do?categoryId=9012261&contentId=7024178 on the BP website and review the various types of BP credit cards. Under the card that you choose, there will be a button that says, "Apply now." You will be redirected to a page with information about BP rebates and cash-back programs.
2. Scroll down to the middle of the page and click at to "Click here to apply now" to be redirected to the application.
3. Answer the three questions pertaining to your credit and then fill out the application with your personal information. The application asks for information such as name, address, date of birth and Social Security number. You also will need information about your employer.
4. Fill in the name of any authorized users you would like to add to your account. List any credit cards you would like BP to transfer a balance from. You will need the account number of the credit account and the amount to be transferred.
5. Scroll down after your application is completed and read the authorization disclosure and the information about interest rates. Click the "Submit now" button at the bottom.
