Get a Lean Body
It seems that society is crazed with new diets, supplements and vitamins that claim to give you a lean and fit looking body in no time flat but these cheats often produce more problems then good results. Getting a healthier lean body is a scientific art that can only be done through careful planning and adhering to certain practices. You can get a lean body by following these guidelines persistently and genuinely so that you can look and feel better.
Instructions
1. Munch to speed up your metabolism. Eating miniature healthy meals on a consistent basis (at least 5 times a day) will help to speed your metabolism which allows you to burn fat and make energy more efficiently from food. In order to get a lean body, your metabolism must be aligned with your goal and regulated. Within every miniature meal, make sure that you have a healthy serving of protein such as beans, eggs, chicken, fish or nuts; carbohydrates like oats, bran, wheat, fruits or cereal; and fats such as milk, yogurt, and cheese. You will also need to eat a serving of vegetables or vegetable juice with every meal, ensuring that you get a variety of colors to cover each vitamin and nutrient benefit.
2. Stretch out your muscles. Stretching your muscles helps to keep them longer and flexible which will give your entire body a more overall lean appearance. Yoga is a good exercise to get both a good stretch and a great workout while encouraging lean growth.
3. Sweat of the pounds by taking a stroll. Walking is one of the most beneficial exercises and it is also a low impact exercise that is easy on the joints. Power walking will help you shed excess fat, provide you with aerobic exercise that is good for your heart as well as it will stimulate a leaner looking physique. Interval training, which is when you walk or exercise with full effort for 30 seconds of every 3 minutes of your aerobic workout, will also help you to burn more calories while exercising and when resting. Interval training can be done with other exercises such as jogging, biking and water aerobics in a pool.
4. Lift lighter or use resistance when weight training. When weightlifting is your choice of workout for the day, ensure that you do not use a weight that is more than 75 percent of your maximum. Lifting heavy weights will make your body look bulky and compact rather than chiseled and lean. Instead of lifting your max, focus on lifting exercises using lighter weights while performing more repetitions. Ensure that you perform each repetition using a full range of motion in order to get a lean look.
5. Repair your body by getting enough rest every night. In today's fast paced world, many adults have deprived themselves of sleep in order to get all of their daily tasks done. Adults need at least 6 to 8 hours of unbroken sleep each night to operate at full mental and physical capacity each day. Make sure that you give your body enough sleep within a 24 hour time frame so that your body can heal and function in high gear.
