"The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" has a fairly lengthy side quest that involves trading masks to people who need them. You'll have to trade all of the masks with the correct people to be able to use the Mask of Truth. This mask gives you the ability to get hints from Gossip Stones that are scattered throughout the map.
Instructions
1. Play through the game until you complete the level called "Inside Jabu-Jabu's Belly." Go to Hyrule Market and enter the Happy Mask shop. Talk to the shop owner and borrow the Keaton mask.
2. Go to Kakariko Village and equip the Keaton mask. Talk to the guard at the north end of town while wearing the mask and he will buy it from you. Return to the mask shop in Hyrule Market.
3. Talk to the shop owner again and borrow the Skull mask. Go to Kokiri Forest, then up into the Lost Woods. Turn left and equip the Skull mask.
4. Jump up onto the small stump and talk to the child in this area. He'll buy the Skull mask from you, so go back to Hyrule Market and the mask shop. Borrow the Spooky mask from the shop owner.
5. Go to Karakiko Village and equip the Spooky mask. Go into the graveyard and talk to the kid that is walking around. He will buy the Spooky mask from you, so return to the mask shop again.
6. Borrow the Bunny Hood from the shop owner and go southwest from town in the direction of Lon-Lon Ranch. You will find a man running laps around the ranch. Equip the Bunny Hood and talk to the man and he will buy it from you.
7. Go back to the Happy Mask shop. Talk to the owner again and borrow the Mask of Truth from him, which you can now keep for as long as you'd like.
