Even if you never wanted to, you've seen Matthew McConaughey's "eight pack" abs that men envy and women drool over. Photographers are quick to catch the movie star while not wearing a shirt and those pictures are always plastered all over the tabloids. If you want to get Matthew McConaughey's abs, you don't need to hire an expensive personal trainer (he doesn't). Here's how he does it.
Instructions
1. Start your ab workout with a Swiss Ball crunch. Lie with your lower back on the ball, legs in front of you and feet on the floor. Curl your shoulders up while bringing your knee to your chest. This works your front abdominal muscles. Repeat 15 repetitions two to four times.
2. Learn do medicine ball lunges. Start by holding the medicine ball above one shoulder and then lower it to the opposite foot while lunging. So, if you start with the ball above your left shoulder, you'll lower it toward your right foot while lunging. This works your upper and lower abdominals and oblique muscles. Repeat 15 reps two to four times.
3. Keep going with medicine ball slams. Start by holding the medicine ball above and slightly behind your head. Pull the medicine ball forward and slam it into the ground. Catch the ball as it bounces back up and repeat 15 reps two to four times.
4. Do 15 reps of lying medicine ball wood chops. Lying on a weight bench, hold the medicine ball above your head and then lower it to one side of your body, then repeat the same exercise on the other side. Complete two to four sets.
