Obtain Xbox 360 Gamerpoints by completing game objectives.
Xbox Live gives you access to multiplayer gaming, video streaming and voice chat through your Xbox 360 console. The service also comes with an online store where you can purchase hundreds of games and movies. To buy these items, you must obtain points using a credit card or prepaid card.
Instructions
Add Points With a Prepaid Code
1. Log in to your Xbox Live profile on your Xbox 360.
2. Open the "Guide" pop-up menu by pressing the "Xbox" button on your controller.
3. Scroll toward the right to select the "Settings" blade.
4. Choose "Account Management." The "Guide" menu will close, and a new list of options will appear.
5. Select "Redeem Code."
6. Enter your points code into the pop-up field. The points will add to your account's total after inputting the 25-digit code.
Add Points With Credit Card
7. Log in to your Xbox Live account on official Xbox website (see Resources).
8. Go to the "Add Microsoft Points" page (see Resources).
9. Choose how many points you would like to purchase.
10. Click "Next."
11. Select "Confirm Purchase" from the following screen. If you don't have a credit card set up with Xbox Live, instead click "Add a New Credit Card."
