Recovery CDs can quickly fix a computer.
All computers run the risk of file corruption from viruses or hardware/software malfunctions. If your eMachines computer is having problems, you can reinstall the drivers and applications from the recovery CD. Some computer models come with recovery CDs, while other models require the user to create them before problems arise. This CD has clean copies of all essential program applications and drivers that you need to run your computer. Once reinstalled, your eMachines PC should work efficiently.
Instructions
1. Power on your eMachines computer.
2. Open the disc drive and place the first recovery CD inside. Push the disc drive closed and wait for the PC to boot up. The "Application Recovery Program" should open. If it does not, go to "Start" and then "My Computer." Double-click on the "D" drive to start the recovery program.
3. Click each application on the list that you want to reinstall. Press the "Ctrl" key while clicking on each item.
4. Click "Next" and wait for the drivers and applications to reinstall. If you want to install more drivers and applications, click "Yes" when it prompts you. If not, click "Quit" and restart your PC.
