While playing games on the PlayStation 3 video game console, players can earn trophies for completing challenges and reaching milestones. Your PlayStation Network profile provides a case to display these trophies for others to see. If, for some reason, you wish to get rid of your trophies, you must delete your entire PlayStation Network account. Deleting your account will also delete your user files and preferences, so proceed only if you do not mind losing these files.
Instructions
1. Select your username from the "Users" menu to log into your account. Once you are logged in, highlight your username again.
2. Press the "Triangle" button to open your user account options menu and select "Delete."
3. Read the message that says "If you delete the user, saved data for PlayStation 3 format software, messages, trophies and other information will also be deleted. Are you sure you want to continue?" Highlight "yes" and hit "X" to confirm the deletion. Wait for the deletion process to finish.
