Writing a solid conclusion to an essay is more than restating what you've already said.
Writing a strong essay involves having a great thesis and providing a clear and concise argument, which is validated by strong evidence and engaging dialogue, but nothing quite makes an essay like a strong finish. Your essay, including the conclusion, must be free of typographical, grammatical and spelling errors. Most importantly, your essay's conclusion must be part of a logical structure and organizational framework that effectively captures the essence of what you have argued throughout the rest of the essay, while at the same time leaving the reader with a touch of intrigue or fascination.
Instructions
Finishing Strong
1. Restate your argument immediately and redefine the problem.
2. Discuss the implications of your argument and discuss what can be done to address the problem or question.
3. Describe and discuss possible alternative solutions.
4. Leave the reader with not just a sense of completion, but something to reflect upon. Give them some suggestions for further developing your ideas, solutions or explanations.
